How do you love a person
who never got to be,
Or try again to see a face
you never got to see?
How do you mourn the death of one
who never got to live,
when there's nothing to feel good about
and nothing to forgive?
I love you, little baby'
you're a person of the wind
Free to be the memory
Of all that might have been.
I love you little baby,my companion of the night,
wondering through my lonely hours,
Beautiful and bright.
What does it mean to die before you ever can be born,
To live the the lovely night of life
And never see the dawn?
Ah,my little baby
you lived like anyone!Lifes a burst of joy & pain,
And then,like yours,its done.
I love you little baby
just as if you lived for years,
no more no less,I think of you
The angel of my tears.
oh my gosh!!! That touched my heart so much. I had a m/c about 2 months ago & I have been so devasted. I was 12 weeks. That really touched my heart. My dh seemed to get over it so easily & couldn't understand why I was having such a hard time. Thank u so much. It really touched my heart.
Man I hate poems like this!! :)They make me WAYYYY toooo sad!!!
I can only read them when I am already in a terrible, tearful mood, when I can't get much worse anyway.
Sometimes I can't believe that a person can still exist being as sad as I am...I don't know what I mean by that, really...but I just feel like I am in a daze sometimes.
Thank you for sharing this with us. It helps verbalize what we are all feeling, but don't have the strength to say.
