IMPORTANT FOR ALL MOMS TO KNOW ABOUT FORMULA!

by njrohe, Nov 16, 2006 12:00AM
Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to let you in on some VERY IMPORTANT information for moms to know if your baby has trouble with formula feeding -- try raw (unpasteurized) goat's milk.  You'll have to do reasearch to find it and it will have to be purchased from a private farmer, but this is my friend's story---

Her baby had horrible digestive problems -- projectile vomiting, not gaining weight, constipated all the time, gassy and crying all the time, VERY severe reflux, etc.  Doctors tried multiple formulas, put her on heavy drugs, and were even contemplating surgery to prevent the ability to vomit.  The baby was in intensive care when someone from my church gave my friend the tip about raw goat's milk.  Because it is not pastuerized, it maintains all the good bacteria that aids in digestion, it is more similar to breast milk than anything out there, and packed with vitamins, but doctor's will never tell you to try it.  Bottom line, within two weeks baby was eating twice as much as before and keeping it down, gaining weight, and even got off the drugs.  Today she is happy and healthy.  Thought you all should know incase you or anyone you know ever has a baby with digestive issues!!!

Definitely.  I'd have to find someone I could trust first before giving something raw to the baby.

Someone at work today actually told me that "scientists" are now saying CAMEL'S milk may be even better than goats milk!  Good luck finding that!  LOL!

thank you.

The only trouble with raw milk is that the same thing that helps it retain antibodies (being unpasteurized) can also make it very dangerous (bacteria that can make you very ill).  So know your source and be really careful if you try it.
