IS NEOSPORIN SAFE DURING PREGNANCY?

Has anyone used NEOSPORIN during pregnancy?? I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I'm really worried that I put my baby at risk when I used it on a cut for 3 days. I called my doctor and one of the nurses said it was OK, but I'm just checking. Thanks!

The nurse is right. Topical medicines like neosporin mostly sit on top of the skin and aren't absorbed to the degree that lotions and oils are absorbed. You are better off having used the neosporin and avoiding an infected cut.
