Impants & Breastfeeding

I saw that this popped up and I wanted to add a post.  If you have implants, even if they are under the muscle, you may not be able to breastfeed.  Hold off on buying a pump or anything because i thought i was going to be able to do it but nope my milk never really came in.  it sucked.  i don't care what the internet says or any other the drs mine effected me in breastfeeding.  i had no with my milk coming in with my first.  

So if you are thinking about getting implants and want to get pregnant and breastfeed DON"T DO IT!!  that's my advise.

BTW my breast implants look fine and have not changed due to me being pregnant.

I implants are underneath milk ducts and muscle, but i will say that after my second child my milk still produces after three years, i asked the dr about it he said its my hormones and tht it is normal, so i do know tht it doesnt always stop milk production! It is known tht some women (two of my friends) have had problems with milk coming in without implants, again this i was told is due to hormonal levels. you have raised my hopes on the changing shape, very encouraging thanks, and sorry you were not able to breast feed xx

it could have been the hormones.  I think it was either the implants or them giving me a c-section early.  i should have let my go when it was ready instead of them picking the day

my breasts look as they looked before i got pregnant.

thats interesting, i wonder if it was because u had c-section early-if it was should they have not told you that it may cause probs-so unfair, was this your first or second?
