Implantation Bleeding???

Implantation Bleeding???

Okay I am confused and need some advice.  My husband and I were planning on trying to concieve (conceive) right about this time so on 7/29 I stopped taking my birth control pills (I had been on pill for 13 years).  But then we decided we wanted to wait a little longer and I started taking the pill again on 9/ 16.  I had started my period on 9/14 which was my second one since I had quit the pill.  When I was on the pill i started like clockwork every 28 day.  My first cycle off the pill I started 29 days and the the next time was 23 days.  And it only lasted 3 days and stopped as soon as I started taking the pill again. Seven days after starting the pill again we had sex and then three days later we did again and after we were done there was blood everywhere.  It was fresh blood too bright red.  (Sorry I know that is gross)  But I did not continue to bleed all day like I had started my period again.  Then we had sex the next day and no blood at all.  Then just last night I went to the bathroom and there was bright red blood in the toilet.  So I wore a panyliner at night but no blood all night but then this morning I started spotting again.  I have been wearing a panyliner all day and just have a small amount of spotting occurring that is now brownish colored.  I don't know if my system is all out of whack from being on the pill and then off and then on again or if I did not wait long enough before having unprotected sex again after going on the pill again and have actually gotten pregnant.  I did a HGT test but it was neg but I figured it would be since I am not due until a week from tomorrow.  I don't want to continue taking the pill if I am pregnant cause that is bad.  So I guess my plan is to stop the pill again just in case and then wait until next week and see.  Does this bleeding sound like implantation or am I just all messed up???

Implantation bleeding wouldn't be bright red. It's pink and lasts anywhere from a copule of hours to 2-3 days. I think it might even be light brown, mine was always light pink. I think your cycle is just messed up from stoping and starting the pill. Did you try using a digital early pt? I know those are so sensitive. I took one a week before my period was due and it came out positive. Good luck. Let us know if your preggo!!

That's true, starting and stopping the pill can mess up your cycle. In my experience, my periods have NEVER been regular. When I first started, of course they were irregular, but they never evened out. Even after all these years. But as far as the bleeding and spotting; Implantation bleeding normally occurs a week to a few days before your period would normally start. Spotting that occurs around a week after ovulation is likely implantation bleeding; whereas, spotting that occurs very close to the time that your period would normally start may not be. So if you can stand the wait, take a pregnancy test at least two days after you should have started your period. To get the best results, take it when you first wake up in the morning.

Thanks for the input on this.  Still unsure what is going on.  I've always been regular even when I was off the pill and have never experienced spotting like this before.  Yesterday morning I did a cheapo pt and that one actually showed a faint positive line but I did another one this moring of First Response and that one was negative.  But I know that it is still really too early for any of them to actually be accurate I am just being impatient.  haha  Anyways I am probably just being paranoid and it is just spotting from the change in pill usage.  But the possibility is still there.  I will update when I know for sure!  The thing is that this is the first time in my life that I would actually be happy if I was preggo which is probably what is making me so impatient about it.  If I am not right now then we might not try for another couple years!  At least that was our plan a couple weeks ago before all of this happened.  We shall see!
