Implantation Spotting

My husband and I are ttc.  (2nd month ttc).  My periods have worked by the clock for years, except for last month, 2 days late before AF arrived.  I am 26, with no previous pregnancies, and am currently at day 27 on my cycle. I am new to this and very nervous as to what to expect next.
This month I have experienced spotting, a light pink color on DPO 9,10 & 11, this was very light. It has since stopped, and I have read this is due to implantation bleeding.  I took a pgnt test on DPO 10, results neg.  My breasts are now slightly tender, which is really strange seen as at least 4 days prior to my period, it has always been that my breasts are off limits they are so swollen and tender.  Could I be pregnant?  Or is this just one of those things false symptoms?  Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding and not been pregnant?  I have kept myself busy this month not thinking about it at all, until the spotting.  I hated the let down last month so I keep telling myself I am not pgnt.  But now I am wondering ... maybe... baby?  I am taking another test on Thurs (27th Nov).  I have been reading everyone's stories, thanks for being a part of this and posting your messages.  A great big thanks for listening to my story, I feel better just writing about it.  I hope you all get some good news this month.  Best of luck!

This sounds very much like implantation bleeding (from what I've read about conception/fertilization/implantation).

I've been pregnant once- last March, I didn't have any implantation bleeding, I did get the sore breasts big time, but I did loose the baby (missed miscarriage) ;o(  
I started TTC last month too.  I wish you the best!! Let us know what happens end of this week.

Last night about 8.00pm I started AF, it was bright Red.  No cramping though (something I get painfully everytime with AF for the first 2 days).  AF is early (2 days), and I thought I had implantation spotting so I guess not, my spotting was AF????  So now it looks like I don't have to wait till Thursday to take the test.  My husband is still holding out hope that I am pgnt, I feel sad but I don't think it is possible now AF is here...  
My AF worked to the clock before ttc.  Last month I was two days late with AF, this month AF is two days early... At least there is a next month ..... which I probably won't be able to tell at all - who knows what will happen.  :)  Thanks for listening, again. :)
