Implantation bleeding or Ovulation bleeding?

Hi All,
I came off the pill in March and had 2 periods but nothing in the last 6 months. Doc says it is normal for it to take up to a year for your cycles to get back to normal after coming off pill. My husband and I are trying for a baby but as I have not had a period in 6 months I have not been holding out much hope.
Anyways, on Monday I noticed a tiny spot of pink blood in my underwear and assumed my period was starting. Next time I went to bathroom there was a small bit of light brown discharge (sorry for the graphics!). Then nothing for 2 days but yesterday and today another tiny bit of pink/brown discharge. Not enough to stain my underwear but a little on the toilet paper. Have been doing some research and think it may be either implantation bleeding or ovulation bleeding. Can anybody advise me based on your own experinces?
