Implantation bleeding??

Implantation bleeding??

I have been on Birth Control for about a year now and I take it every morning around the same time. Last month my husband and I had sex (he always pulls out, but this time we weren't sure if he pulled out soon enough. So, about 1 1/2 -2 weeks ago I started to have this brownish/pinkish spotting that was more "mucus-y" than normal. I have been wearing a liner but it doesn't show up on it that often, just mostly when I wipe. Could this be implantation bleeding or something else?

Hi!
If you have been taking birth control for a year and are not missing pills, chances of pregnancy are very minimal. However, if you miss your periods do take a pregnancy test. Spotting and mucus tinged bleeding is common in birth control users. This can start either in the first cycle or after several months of use. Also vaginal infection can cause this. If it persists do consult your gynecologist. Take care!
