Implanting bleed or Period?

Implanting bleed or Period?

First im really confused.

in july I thought i was pregnant cause my AF comes on the 1st of the month, I took pregnancy test and got a +'s all the way, and i got my af on the 16th of july didnt understand why i got postives. no sign of a m\c's either.

Now this new month we are trying, I got postive all week and since saturday i had brown spotting, is that implanting bleeding from the egg or is it my period?

sorry its confusing, im so lost in this ttc world

What tests are you using?? There have been cases of false positives with certain tests. Are you reading it within the first 10 minutes?? If not then the positive could actually be an evaporation line.

You might want to check out peeonastick.com

You could also do as the above poster mentioned and go see a dr. Tell them what has been going on, and that you would like a blood test done. There are NO false positives with a blood test.

Hope this helps.

how long did the spotting last if it didn't last more then a couple days i would say get a doc appt and let them tell you if you are for sure or not!!! i'm going to if i don't get Af this month!!!! hope it's all good for you and baby dust to you!!!!

I'd have to say that I've gotten MANY false positives with the internet cheapies/dollar store (they're the same), and I got a false positve with clearblue digital that read pregnant (bloodwork confirmed it was negative). So false positives do happen. I think that it's more of the case of disappearing positives. So, I firmly believe now that a line is NOT a line unless it's confirmed with 1)other brands testing and 2)bloodwork. Those cheapie hpt have very wicked evaporation lines that start appearing before 5 minutes.

I'm sorry to say this, but if you got positives and then started bleeding (like a regular period) you had a chemical pregnancy. Which is just a much more harsh way of saying "a very early miscarriage".  I'm very sorry.

If you are immediately pregnant again and bleeding once more I'd insist the doctor check my progesterone levels.

You should get into the doctor, even if you can't get in to your gyn right away I'd go to your regular doctor then.

There are some tests that will give a false positive, but false positives are very rare. Very rare.  It is more user misuse, like reading the test after the time limit has expired.   A positive is a positive.

i agree with you, i dont think being harsh is not nice, I didnt have a m\c, no signs not even chemical, docs confrim that when i was bleeding, they didnt understand why, cause i took clear blue test and first response test i took different one, and lines did show up in that time frame, i dont know whats going on, im on cycle 17 going on 18, so im not sure whats going on ive been spotting since sunday
