Infant with a picky stomach

My newborn has a "sensitive stomach" and will only keep down Enfamil Lipil formula, which is essentially the same as Nestle Goodstart. But when we tried him on that he will not hold it down, are there any medical reasons why he rejects the goodstart. Obviously ruling out being lactose intolerent or having an allergy, being as they are so similar.

Many mothers have a hard time finding the "right" formula for their babies.  Is it too late for you to try nursing him.  Maybe for at least the first month or so and then try introducing formula again. I don't know if this would even interest you, or if you can.  It's the perfect milk and almost all babies have no problems with mother's milk.  Just an idea.

DD could tolerate Good Start Soy.  She did not do well on milk based formulas.  She was diagnosed with reflux at the age of 3 months.

My baby can't take the Enfamil but can drink the Good Start.  Are you certain you are mixing it at the right strength?  I second the suggestion about breast feeding -- there are things your ob-gyn might give you to start up your milk.

I started him out breastfeeding, unfortunately I got an infection due to the c-section and had to be put on medication that is not good for him, I also tried goodstart soy, it came up faster than the regular formula.
