Infertile w/2 miscarriages worried!!!

Infertile w/2 miscarriages worried!!!

I am 26 and had my first m/c at 20 and my husband and I have tried eveything but invetro, and we got pregnant in Feb. 2005 and m/c that one also. I had a d&c on Mar.3 and have not started my period yet. Is there any possibility that I can get pregnant before my period starts (I HOPE) or that if I took a pt now would it come up positive because my hgc levels have not dropped completely? I am so DESPERATE!!Please help. THANKYOU!!!

PS. I am seeing a reproductive specialist and have been and he says it will be around three months before I will start my period. What do you think?

It can take up to 6 weeks after you stop bleeding from the miscarriage to have a  period, not 3 months, that is a little obsurd! Or at least that was how long I was told. Do you feel like your pregnant? Being you have been pregnant before, you should know what I mean. I was very emotional and people had to walk on eggshells around me, and I was just very tired. I thought that I was pregnant, but didnt think it was possible. I didnt have a period either. But good luck to you and I hope that I have helped you out even a little bit! Let me know how it goes! GOOD LUCK TO YOU! I AM PRAYING FOR YOU!!

I just told littlewadsworth this like yesterday I believe, but yes, you could be pregnant now. I had a miscarriage on September 1, 2003, and I got pregnant 2 weeks later. I couldnt believe it when they told me that, and at first they couldnt either! They tell you the odds are against you, being you are suposed to let your body rest, but it is possible to have a perfectly normal pregnancy. The only thing I can tell you is you can go to the hospital and have blood taken. They will have to rely on your numbers, because you did just have a miscarriage. Good Luck

I had a miscarriage at the beginning of February and I got pregnant 2 weeks later, before my period returned. I am now nine weeks. It is VERY possible, in fact you are probably more fertile after a miscarriage.Good luck!

Yes you may get a false posititive due to your miscarriage,
But anything can be possible as jaelyn mom has said
Dont give up  Many of us have had miscarriages and now have children, Seek the help of a fertility specialist  sometimes trying too hard , the stress of it all does more harm. Im sure things will work out in time.

You should definetly wait until your body heals.  I had two miscarriages.  I wanted to get pregnant right away.  But when they do a D&C they scrape alot of the uterine lining away.  It must rebuild itself so you can "Carry" the pregnancy.  I would wait at least three months.  My period finally resumed after 2 months after my second miscarriage.  But now I am going to wait a long while until I'm healed completely.

Has your regular doctor ran any test for you to rule some problems that may be causing you miscarriages? I had four miscarriages before having two healthy children. My regular obgyn doctor ran at least 6 different test for me and we discovered that my progesterone levels were low. So with both of my successful pregnancies I had hormone injections twice a week up until the 11 week  and it worked!!! Don't get upset yet there is hope...I think it's a good sign that you can get pregnant the doctors just need to figure out what they can do to help you. Did you have a fetal pole with either one or a heart beat or anything??? Sometimes the chromosomes just didn't fuse together right and there's nothing wrong with you....There are so many women that have had two or more miscarriages and have healthy babies...hang in there. As for being pregnant again you are most fertile after a miscarriage. My doctor told me the same thing KittenCat has said that you utereus linning doesn't have enough time to thicken so the egg doesn't implant good and that causes a miscarriage and he wanted me to wait 3 months after each miscarriage so the wall could thicken. But I know there are women who got pregnant right away with no problems too that's just what my doctor told me.
