Information for mom's who breastfeed

by neparker, Jun 15, 2007 12:00AM
I posted down below about having problems breast feeding, I called our local le leche and they gave me this website.

www.breastfeedingonline.com

Scan down and you will see a link that says Articles by Dr. Jack Newman.  Click on that.  There are tons of articles on breastfeeding, and a few clips on breastfeeding.  He mentions that not all hospitals are teaching us the correct way to breastfeed, on getting a good latch.  I have to admit, I breastfeed my other two children and I thought I wouldn't have problems with this third, but I am, this site is really helpful, I hope you find it helpful too.  Even if you aren't having problems, review it, you'll find something you didn't know.

Thanks so much for that info!  I will def. put that in my fav's list and look at it again when we have our next baby.  We are going to be trying again in the next few months and one of my biggest concerns was bf again.  I abs. loved bf'ing Jayden but he did not latch well at all and quit on me at 5 months.  I was hoping he would bf for atleast the first year of his life so I was SSOOO sad and heartbroken when it didn't work for him.  I really really want our next baby to bf for much longer and I am grateful to you for posting this!  Thanks so much!
