Iron Deficiency

Iron Deficiency

Hello,

My 27-month daughter has been diagonised with Iron defiency with low haemoglobin and ferritin levels. Since the last 6 months or more, her appetite is not the same  (sometimes eating well and sometimes not). Please advise as to what should be a typical diet(vegetarian)which is rich in iron and within what time period will she be cured. At present she is taking iron drops.

If you go to google you can look up foods high in iron. Also some kids will go 2 to 3 day without eatiing and then pig out....but its normal the best thing to do is let them eat when they wanna eat and remember their still building their metabolism and its not the same as ours!

Cook your food in cast iron cookware. You will get iron from that.
Google or Yahoo search it.
