Is This A Sign of Early Pregnancy???? HELP??

Hi Everyone! Im 28 and I was hoping someone out there could help me. I having been trying to get pregnant for a few months now. I had my last period on 8/14-8/20 then on 9/1 I started to have a brown discharge. No pain, cramping, or red blood.  It lasted a couple of days, very light. Just enough for a panty liner. It was really dark brown and thick (sorry if that sounds gross) I know this is way too soon for another period. I usually travel, For instance one month it will start on the 14 the next on the 21st.... I have NEVER had two periods in one month.  And i wouldnt even consider this a period since it was sooo light with no pain. Mine are usually really heavy with bad cramps for two days.  Does anyone think this could be implantation bleeding??? When can I test?? Do I need to wait till the 14th of this month??? If im not pregnant, then why would I have this spotting...?? Im sooo confused has anyone ever had this kind of discharge so soon before their next period is due?? any advice i would really appreciate it. Thanks everyone!!!! Can be anything! Sounds like your not really regular,Many things can affect your cycle, change in diet, medications, stress,
You can take a hpt as early as a week or two after a missed period I would wait it out, and after 2 weeks take a test.

I am in the same situation...On day 23 of my cycle I started spotting brown for about five days (as long as my periods usually are) but this was really early for my period and just really light and brown discharge.  This is totally not normal for me.  I have taken a pregnancy test and it was negative, I should have started my period in the last few days.  I am really confused and don't know if I should call my doctor. If you find out anything, please let me know. I am really trying to get pregnant and this is really scary to me as I have already had 2 misscarriages. Thanks. Good luck.

I agree with cinnamonheart. I would wait it out until your period is about 2-3 days late. You can then go and buy just about any kind of preg test (Equate Brand from Wal*Mart is fairly inexpensive and accurate). You need to make sure that you have missed your period though, because that's when urine tests work best. I went in to the er on August 1st for a urinalysis (uti) and the pregnancy test came out negative. It turns out, I was as pregnant at that time, so early preg testing (when it's too early to tell) can give you a false positive. Wait it out chica!

Thanks everyone for replying.  I am trying to wait it out but the 14th seems light years away... I tell my husband that I wish I had like a turkey themo. that would pop up if im pregnant..ha ha.. I will keep you all updated.. No more spotting.. just tired.. and thats about it.. thanks again

I have had the same discharge very closely to the end of my last period and I went to my doctor about it.  He said that many women experience this type of discharge when they have an ovarian cyst that has ruptured or is putting pressure on the uterus which will force some blood that is no longer in the uterus lining to discharge.  It could be a sign of early pregnancy, however, mine was dark like you described and he says that it was too dark for implantation spotting.  My suggestion is to see your doctor ASAP and ease your troubled mind before you drive yourself mad.

If you are late with your period, have been trying to get pregnant, and are having a brown discharge, you probably are pregnant and at the implantation stage.  Take a test. Urine tests work at about four weeks gestation.  Blood tests can detect the pregnancy hormone sooner.  When I was pregnant (a long time ago) I had the same brown discharge and thought I was starting my period.  It was on and off for a few days, was light brown then dark brown then back to light brown.  After it stopped I took a test and wouldn't ya know, it was positive.

Well today i was offically suppose to get my period ... but no sign of it.. On monday i had pain on my right side by my ovary, but went away within a few hours.. No spotting.. nothing.. I took a preg. test this morning but it came back negative... could it be that its just too soon??? since i do travel and am not super regular.. what in the world is going on with me.. I hope im pregnant..but if not whats happening??? I also feel like im puffy/bloated ... any advice is much appreciated.. thanks

I'm kinda in the same boat... NO period, however im not really trying to get pregnant and I am using the pill.  Last time I got a period was Aug 16 which ended on the 19th (yes i get it for 3 days only).  My period is like clockwork.  However i did have spotting the week following my period which lasted 3 days as well.  This month I have no sign of anything.  Only bloating... no cramps no back pain no nothing.  And to make things more confusing... I only had sex on august 9 and then on sept 11.  I did a hpt today and turned out neg.  I am hoping mother nature decided to spare me for a month and i will get my period next month.  Hope things go well with you...  Keep us posted and good luck!

Hi Iam also trying to concieve (conceive) i have a daughter she is 4 years old but now i want second one my periods are due on 29 but from 26 Iam having brown dischsrge i usually get that before my periods but it can be an implantation bleeding but for brwon discharge its also bcause the matuarity of the egg get delay thewre fore u get before periods too

Hey I'm in the same situation however am not trying to get pregnant.I'm supposed to get my period today and I've been having the brownish discharged for 5days already. Can I be pregnant?? My boyfriend did use condom and washed it then we had sex again and he put it in and then he put the condom...can it be that he had sprem still??

i am on the pill and am pretty sure i havent missed any pills in the past few months but this past week i did not get my period at all, i got 2 days worth of brown discharge. It wasnt alot at all, but usually my pd comes like clockwork. ive been on it for almost 2 yrs and never had any issues like this. What do you all think? should i take a test? its been about 3 or 4 days since the discharge stopped and im a little worried. i started my other pack of bc pillls too on wed. was this a bad idea?

I have light brown stringy discharge and was on clomid this month.  I should start my cycle in 4 days.  could this mean I am pregnant.
