Is amoxicillin safe while pregnant?

I am 15 weeks pregnant and have the mother of all sinus infections. Is it ok to take amoxicillan?

What did the doctor, who is treating you during pregnancy, have to say on this matter? Have you filled the script yet? Did you check with the pharmacist?

I took it 500mg 2 x per day when preggo with twins, I checked with OB first and it was fine. also sudafed is ok, but not the sudafed PE

i was prescribed amoxcillin at 28weeks due to having an infection, my doc told me it is completely safe during pregnancy.
