Is it bad to carry low

I went to the doctor today to take my glucose test and while i was there i got an ultrasound. My doctor acted kinda suprised that my baby is so low. She wants to give me alot more ultrasounds to check on her. I've always been very small, so of course i don't have the huge belly but could this be why she's so low? I am 25 weeks and 3 days today so is it not ok to carry this low this far along. I've carryed low my whole pregnancy, but no one had said anything about it while doing my ultrasounds before. what could be the risk of my baby being so low?

I've never heard of carrying low being odd, this is a first for me. BUT, since your Dr. acted surprised and said you'd get more ultrasounds I'm surprised it wasn't the perfect opportunity to ask her-her thoughts and concerns.  She is the one that has the ultimate say so I would approach her about what is concerning her.

I've never heard of any risks of carrying low either, or it being a problem. I carried my baby low my entire pregnancy and was never told it was an issue. Is there another underlying reason that she might have said she wants to do more checks? Like a low lying placenta, breech, anything like that? I would call back and ask why, and why she thinks it's an issue.

She didn't really say much, she just looked and was like wow your baby is really low do you have an pressure? Which i dont. And when she was done measuring and all that she told me we would do more ultrasounds. I didn't really think anything about it while i was there because she didn't act to weird about it just when she seen my baby she was like wooow so low. I'll ask tomorrow but thank you all :)
