Is it okay to paint?

I am currenty 33 weeks and me and my fiance are wanting to paint our daughters new room this week.  Have any of you ever painted while you were pregnant or do you know if it is okay.  I wasn't sure and I don't want to do anything to harm the baby. I just wanted to help him with the room and I didn't know if painting was okay.

NOP! you have to stay away from the home even after the paint is done untill its smell go, my doctor told me to not even go to someone who has recently painted his house

Thanks I dont go to the doctor for another couple of days and we were probably going to do it tomorrow and i didn't want to call and ask so i will be sure to leave the house for awhile.

thank you, that is better. you can just give him orders and go for a shopping for the baby, let him start at the morning so he'll finish early and then you comeback at night, and let him leave the windows open so you'll have fresh air and the walls will dry quickly.

My high-risk specialist told me that the only way painting can harm you is if you stick your head into the bucket of paint.  :)

I heard the same, I've painted with each and everyone of my pregnancies and they said its okay and wont hurt baby.
