Is there a connection between KD and Leukemia

My son had KD in 2004, has the aneurysms in his coronary arteries and is on aspirin. Recently he had ruptured  blood vessels around his eyes. The blood tests show a slight increase in his white cells but nothing to be alarmed about. His dr says she doesnt know what could have caused this. 2 people have told me that these are the first signs of leukemia, can there be a connection?
