Itchiness after delivery

Hi my son was born 11 days ago and I'm experiencing some vaginal itchiness.  I didn't have any stitches and I'm not having any discharge other than the bleeding from delivery. Has anyone experienced this after delivery? Thanks

Maybe it's jst your hormones trying to get back to normal?? Not real sure. Call your doc and see if you can do anything to relieve it.

I had itchiness, but lots of stitches.  Sounds like it could be hormones, but I would check with your Dr.

Most of the time the itching is from dried blood and excess discharge. The best thing to do is get "Tucks Pads" or take a water bottle filled with warm water and let it run over that area. Also air drying, lying with nothing on and air drying will help heal the area and the itching will stop.

I would have the doc take a peek, just to make sure there is no infection.  I highly recommend a sitz bath as it soothes the perineum.
