Just feeling a little frustrated

Just feeling a little frustrated

Hey ladies. Well,I am 9 weeks. I have to say the morning sickness is better but the nausea is still there but nothing I can not deal with. The problem is that I have been feeling down lately. I do not know why. Most women are so happy and elated to be pregnant. I am in the process of weaning off Paxil I was put on it when my mom died 2 years ago. I am down to 5mg a day. But i do not think this is the reason for my feeling down. I just feel so useless. I am a stay at home mom but I clean houses for a little extra money. I cleaned one this morning and when I came home, mine of course is a disaster and I do not want to touch it. My poor darling husband is suffering the most. We have  not had sex in 2 months. The thought of it makes me sick. He is so wonderful about it though. The other thing is that I can not stop eating! I have gained weight and my clothes are tight and I feel like a pig. Tell me these cravings will go away. The thing is everything I want to eat is junk! well, I do not mean to go on and on with needless complaining but thanks for letting me vent. One more thing. I rented a doppler knowing I would probably not be able to hear the heartbeat at 9 weeks but I got it anyway, and guess what, can not find it. So know that has me worried. My first appointment is next week. Can not wait! Take care, Danielle

Don't worry the sex thing will get better. There for a while the thought of kissing DH made me sick, not to mention the other things he was missing out on. But now it is better and I am the one getting turned down. He is now afraid he will hurt Alex.

I am in my third preg. and am 6wks.  What your going through is normal.  I still freak out whenever I feel a pain or something I am not familiar with so not hearing the heartbeat would make any normal person nervous.  But the doctor is more experienced on how to fing the heartbeat and she can explain to you why you might not fing it at home.

As for the problem with your DH I went through it with my other two boys and am going through it now.  Most husbands are understanding my husband makes jokes ablut it all the time, but he knows it has nothing to do with him and that it will pass.  It sounds like your husband is thinking the same thing.  Once all these feelings pass (and they will) you won't be able to get enough of him and that will make up for what he is losing now.  YOu also might want to think if the no sex is also playing apart in you feeling down since that is important to us just as it is to our DH.  And don't worry about the house that will pass and some women even go through a cleaning stage where the house will be scrubbed from top to bottom daily.  Don't push yourself to do anything your body is teling you it can't at this point.  Your body knows what it can and cannot handle.  Take this time to relax and give yourself time to get used to the new baby inside you.
