Im tryin to get somethings ready for the hospital for whenever i go.  I wrote down things from online websites about why they recomend. Is there anything that you ladies found useful or would have liked to have that others might not think of

i would buy a bigger size underwear than you normally wear. i mean HUGE, to fit those diapers they give you. and i would also bring some maxi pads for heavy flow and/or depends, in case you really dont like those huge diapers. that was the worst for me. also, a robe and comfy slippers are good too.

Depending on the hospital, you really do not need much except for clothes to go home in and slippers. You can wear their gowns and I know my hospital gave me those disposal underwear to wear while I was there.

I have always "treated" myself after I have a baby.  I will buy a few new pj outfits and some nice socks.  Fun socks.  It made me feel soooo much better to take a shower and be able to put on new clothes.  Try to remember that depending how long youll be at the hospital your milk will come in.  Your chest will double or triple in size so a comfy sports bra or a nursing bra is very benificial.  I never ever felt comfortable in the hospital gowns.  I would also suggest to buy yourself your preferred maxi pads.  The hospitals really do give you something that is about 12 inches long (at least).  They ussually do not have an adhesive backing eighter.  They are very interesting.  Good luck

They ussually advise you to buy the nursing bras in the same size you would normally buy a bra.  However I have found this not to be true.  Pregnant or not every bra manufacturer is different.  Your size will change in the first two weeks until you get a feeding schedule down.  You will get really big and then things will get better once the initial engorgment goes away.  If you found a nursing sports bra that is awesome...I did not know they had them.  I have always just started with a sports bra until things got better.  I have always had to sleep in mine at first ....so the more comfortable you can get it the better.
Best of luck...

I brought a cute sweatsuit to put on so I didnt have to take all those pictures with my ugly hospital gown.  I also brought a pretty baby blanket to wrap my baby in for pictures.  DONT FORGET SOCKS!  Those were my favorite!  Also, snacks for DH, a bobby because you'll need it for breastfeeding and your neck will start to hurt from looking down at your baby.  Your pillow if your like me who loves their pillow.

Definitely get you a pair of really cute and comfty PJ's and a comfortable outfit to wear when you go home. I usually wear a loose fitted knit dress or something.  The socks are a must because it is soooo cold in the hospital.  Of course, bring a going home outfit for the baby! ;)

Honestly, I would get a couple pairs of PJs cause that's all you're really gonna want to wear or have time to wear around the house the first couple of weeks after the baby is born...lol

DONT FORGET THE GRANDMA PANTIES!!!!!!!  The hosp knit panites wer really comfortable and since their is so much blood you dont want to ruin your own but remember to have some for home.  I did not own any and I found some comfy ones to wear post pardum until the bleeding stopped.  The panites was the worst part of PP...I hate Grandma panties!

I definitely would get some cute sweats & pj's...once my epi wore off I got out of that yucky hosp gown and took a shower!!!!!!!!!  I also had cute preemie outfits to put my baby in for the hosp picture.  And then an outfit to take her home in.
