Large Gestational Sac question?

I had a transvaginal ultrasound today and we saw a 6w4d fetus w. heartbeat but the sac is measuring 8weeks. My Dr. seemed really intrigued and didn't say wether that was good or bad. When we asked her what that meant she said she wasn't sure why the sac was measuring so large. Has anybody heard of this before or have any information they could forward me about this?

I would love to know what happened with you....I am currently going through a simlilar situation. Except my doctor has been VERY negative about the sac being larger than the bab. The baby measured 6 weeks ( no heartbeat) and the sac measured 7 and half weeks. I guess maybe she was so negative because we haven't seen a heartbeat yet. We go back tomorrow. I am praying my baby has grown and has heartbeat!

I too have a larger sac. Actually, one sm and one large. The sm. one has a heart beat but Dr. is still not sure of the other and wants me back in two weeks. If I hear before you I will let you know what I find out. Pls. do the same for us.
