Late period with Clomid

Hi Everyone-

This is my first time here so I hope I can get some answers.  I have been taking Clomid for 9 months.  I started with 50 mg then went to 200 mg.  My last dose was 150 mg.  Are cycles irregular while taking Clomid?  I am on cycle day 34 today today.  I have breast tenderness, cramps, fatigue, and nausea.  But then again, I have had these problems every other month too.  Are these side effects of Clomid?  We have 2 children now, but lost one when she was 5 days old.  We would really like our son to have a sibling.  What happens when Clomid does not work?

Yes, Clomid does cause those symptoms and a delayed start date to your period. Often times if it does not work they want you to consider IUI or IVF.

Hi im new here and i have just posted a ? almost like yours but mine was that i used clomid 2 weeks ago and my period came friday but only last for 2 days and i normally have it for 4 days but before my period came i had the feeling of being pregnant

I have taken two cycles of clomid. After the first cycle my husband went on a course but still took the 2nd cycle to correct the problem before he is back. i have not seen my period. I am 6days late, unusual and i know i cannot be pregnant cos havent had sex after the last cycle. Please wats happening and how do i take the next doe?

i am also in the same situation my period was due (valentines day) & still no sign i took clomid on days 2 to 6 & now am 5 days late (stick pregnancy tests) come back negative & dont know wether to take my next lot encase i am pregnant ooh i dont know what to do!!!
