Leaking Diapers overnight

Just wanted to check with everybody else - the twins have been sleeping through the night for about 2-4 weeks now.  At first, they wouldn't leak through their diapers at night.  Now, when they wake up in the morning, their diapers are drenched and some is leaking out.  It's not time to go up in size yet, but we have gone up in size just overnight.  It seems to have worked, but just wanted to see if anybody else has any ideas.  We are using the size 3 Pampers Baby Dry at this time for overnights.

My 20month old always leaks at night. I use a size up and Huggies overnites. I use pampers size 4 during the day. It is annoying isn't it?

I don't have any suggestions other than what you are already doing but t is annoying - poor little babies - I am sure it is annoying for them too!  I started using Huggies Supreme for Izzy and they have only leaked overnight one time.  (Granted the diapers weigh about 10 pounds in the morning!  I lift her up and it feels like she doubled her weight overnight!)  She is also only 5 months - I am sure there is much more flow the older they get!

I preferred Pampers Cruisers and Huggies Supreme.  Going up a size, switching to night time, or switching brand ususally helps.  Other than that, mayne put a pad on top of the matress so you don't have to wash the padding everyday or get up and change them.  Sorry not much help here.

I have always used Huggies Supreme diapers anything else seems to leak out. Just try moving up a size even if they seem a little big or you can buy Huggies Overnites. My daughter had the same problem and I changed her to Huggies Overnites and she hasn't has a leak yet.

The Pampers Cruisers are the higher end ones over Baby Drys.  I just found that out!  A friend of mine puts two diapers on one of her boys over night - a regular size and then a larger size over it.  It's the only thing she could find that works.  I found that Huggies leak on my son, but Pampers do okay overnight.

There's a product called Diaper Doublers you can put in the diapers at night.  That's what I did with my kids, and amazingly, the product is still available.

I recently had a similar problem, but only during the night. edward has neevr had a problem with leakage during the day and i swear by huggies diapers, but overnight, the huggies do leak. i recently tried huggies overnights and they seem to do the trick. other people also suggested going one size up and the diaper doublers. i had a hard time finding the diaper doublers in my area and until i picked up the huggies overnights, i took someone else's suggestion and stuck a maxi pad in one of his regular diapers. it was a good alternative for the time, but i def. prefer the huggies overnights now that i've tried them. good luck!

I agree, Huggies seems to make a really good overnight diaper. I use the Target brand during the day (a case of whatever size for $14).

I HATE Pamper's Cruisers at night, every single morning we awoke with the gel explosion! Luvs did well at night, but sometimes they will just leak. I have run through all the diapers and it seems like no matter the brand, they all leaked at one point or another.

I love Huggies Overnites but I think they only start in size 4. Not positive on that. Prior to using the Huggies Overnites I used to "double dipe" Avery. I would put two diapers on her-the diaper I put on top I would go up a size. Good luck-it is no fun waking up with wet dipes!

I use size 3 pampers cruisers and before that I used swaddels.  I never had a leak problem - and we have had some pretty heavy diapers.

Thank you ladies - we went up a size the last 2 nights and had leaks this morning.  I went to Babies R Us and bought Huggies overnights (size 3) and also bought a pack of diaper doublers - I found them.  So depending on what my hubby wants to try first, we will see what works.
