Legal name question

I am 37W5D and all though we have had a name picked out for a long time just recently I lost my grandfather :( and I have been thinking of also having our son have his name as a middle name as well.
That would mean he would have 2 middle names, while it is a long name I like the sound of it.
What I want to know is how does that work with legal documents? Would he have to always use both middle names on everyting? Like drivers licence and diplomas and such?
I don't really want him to always have to use both, but to just have it as a rememberance of his great grandfather :)

I too have 2 middle names...It's fine. I have both my grandmother's names, one was my dads whom passed away a long time ago-about 25 yrs or so maybe 30 i cant remember.. my dad was 13 at the time and he is now 43 so.. yup! and my gramma on my mom's side is my godmother so i have her name as well:)

To answer your question, yes he would have to use all the names on his birth certificate for legal documents such as a driver's liscense, ID, about everything... My husband and I both have that issue. He has two middle names and has to use both of those and I have two last names (I was adopted and they kept my original last name as well)

Woops I read the post wrong.. hehe! Yes my middle names are on everything but when I sign stuff it's juss first and last name-those middle names are there for identity and what not. I think 2 middle names are better in a way because I've seen so many ppl have the same first name and middle name and last name but what are the odds of same first name, 2 middle names and last name.

If our baby is a little girl her name will sorta be long-she will go by Kayleah-Jade Murielle then my last name hyphnated with my bf's last name and if it's a little boy, Bradley Lionel my last name again and his. In school and all the child will go by his last name and signing.

My first daughter has two middle names. Ariel Jade Star, and yes you have to use the whole name on everything. But i like the name you picked out.

my dd also has two middle names Kylie Ann Nicole  when it just asks for middle initial i just put an A and when it asks for the middle name then i use the hole thing.

My eldest daughter is named Katherine December Lee and everything for her legal wise is just her first name and first middle name.  Do what you feel is best for your baby and family, that is what is important.

One of my good friends has 2 middle names and she has to use both on legal documents.  It's the same as if you have 2 last names, which I do.  I took both of my husband's last names when I married him, in Mexico they have the father's and mother's last names.  My daughter has both of his last names as well.  Poor kid, her name is so long I don't know how she'll ever learn to write it.
