I have had HCG test and they are doubling normally - sometimes even tripling, but I have light red spottingVaginal bleeding between periods for about a week now. It stops when I am resting and then starts again when I take a walk or have a really busy day. I am worried b/c it is brightBright beginnings red. Anyone know or has had any experiences with something similuar. Is the brightBright beginnings redness a sure sign of miscarriage?
Not neccesarily,
my mother had light blood in her pregnancy and everything was perfectPerfect choice. I would consult a doctor if you get cramping or the bleeding becomes heavy
There are many causes of spottingVaginal bleeding between periods in early pregnancy. The fact that you are having such good rises in HCG is very good. Your cervix can be "friable" or irritated early in pregnancy, and can sometimes bleed. Call your doc and let him/her have a look.
I would still be very encouraged about the pregnancy.
I am 5-6 weeks pregnant. I am 37 and this is my 7th pregnancy. I haven't been pregnant in nine years and all my pregnancies have been low risk and have gone flawlessly from start to finish. However, this pregnancy I started spotting pink to brown and then back to pink for a week now. Very light, no pain, just occasional slight discomfort. I have had an ultrasound and they think the egg sack has been identified on the uterine wall, but the doc is telling me to watch for signs of a ecoptic pregnancy. My Hcg levels are perfect and rising very well. Upon internal exam my doctor mentioned possible fibroids. I had a radical cone biopsy last year and have had 4 good paps, but I'm wondering if this could be causing the spotting from the site of the surgery. This will be my last child and I will be considering a hysterectomy following birth, so this pregnancy is so very dear to me. Does anyone out there have similar symptoms or have any insight on what could be going on and if fibroids are harmful during pregnancy? Has anyone else out there had a pregnancy after a cone biopsy and experienced spotting? Thanks!!! The last thing I want to be doing is stressing out right now!!!

I am 20 and Married. We just found out we're expecting our First. I am approx 6-8 weeks and concerned. I have been spotting very light brown when I use the bathroom or when I walk alot or clean around the house. If I stay in bed for hours or relax all day I'm fine not spotting. I cant go to the doctor until our insurance gets sorted out and i'm concerned how well my baby is growing or if its going to turn into a miscarriage. I dont have any types of cramps or pains just light spotting brown (no pink or red) is this normal or should I be concerned.
any info will help.
thanks.
