Sometimes when you ovulate the egg can cause slight bleeding when it bursts through the ovary. It is too early for implantation bleeding, unless of course you are mistaken about when you ovulated. Hope this helps.
I had very light spotting on the exact day I was supposed to ovulate..
I hope Msklar is right and it's just a sign of ovulation.
I've also heard (for your case) that implantation can happen up to 4 days past ovulation (but usually 7-10).
