Lochia after 16 weeks of delivery

I gave birth more than 16 weeks back by c-section and still experience lochia. It is very light, just a few spots a day usually accompanied by a flesh coloured clot.
I saw my gynaec did a PAP smear, and everything was fine. The only thing she discovered was a polycystic appearing left ovary which she said was not too severe and I anyways do not have any POC symptoms like obesity or acne or extra hair  etc.
She just told me to wait for it to go away on its own.
Please help with any suggestions.

If you saw your doctor recently about this, and she was not concerned and suggested you wait a bit, I'd follow her advice.

That seems like a long time to be spotting.  What kind of birth control are you on?  Sometimes different birth control options can lead to spotting frequently.
