Looking for some unique special nice girls M names...Help, ideas??

I am not very far along in my pregnancy, and my husband and I are already having a hard time thinking of a girls name (or one we can agree on for that matter). Our daughters name is Madelyn, and if we have another girl we would like for her name to start with M as well (my name sarts with M too)...We would like to find something unique and NOT on the top 100 baby names list (Ex:Makayla, Maya, Madison(which is way too close to Madelyn anyways, etc)..I know that this site is visited by many woman from all over the world, I was just wondering if any of you ladies had ideas for unique (but not TOTALLY out there) Girls M names..Thanks in advance for your ideas..

I am a teacher and one girl where I work has the name Macy.  It's not for everyone but it suits her and I just wanted to throw it out there for you!

I love talking names! :) If I were having a girl she was going to be named Macey. My baby cousin is Marley (which I love). I also like McKinley...but I always was afraid if I had a bigger girl the mean kids would call her Mt. McKinley! So I shortened it to just Kynlee which my husband hates! But...I'm having a boy! A lady I used to work with had a daughter named Maleah and I always thought it was so pretty and different.  Pronounced (Mu-Leah).  :-)  Good luck!

My 5 year old dds name is Marin.  Pronounced like Sharon or Karen.  We love it.  Everyone does.  It could be spelled Maryn or really anyway you would want to change it.  We have only met about 3 other Marins.  A couple baby girls and 1 grown up.   My husband found the name in a Vanity Fair article.  I believe it was Dennis Hopper's daughter's name.  We used her spelling.  Good luck!  We put 5 names in a cup before delivery at the hospital and right before I went into labor I drew her name.  It was awesome!  Good luck to you!  What a special time!

i am having an aweful time choosing a name for my little girl. everything i like, dh shoots down. he only likes 2 names, and i'm not big on those. he wants Anna or Sophie. I like Olivia, Emma, Brianna, Isabel, Carina, and plenty more (that he completely eliminated). the only names we compromise on are Sara or Julia, but i don't want to settle on a name that i think is just OK!!! this is my first baby and it's a girl!!! the man shows no opinion on most things in our lives. why does he have to be so stubborn all of a sudden? :(

I don't know if it's really popular or on a top 100 list, but I've always liked the name Marie.  It sounds so classical to me- although I think it means bitter  :S  But oh well- my mom named me Sarah Marie, the bitter princess haha

Hi might be a bit late but just came across your post and thought you might still be checking , im scottish and totally love the name Murren , (bravehearts wife !!) I think its gorgeous , but DH doesnt like it so we have a girl then it out for me . We have actually settled on Madison, i love it but it could change .............Good luck !!
