My first thing would be to research the hell outta the Fibroid thing.  Find out what the chances are of it happening again, find out what causes it, why it happens, if you're at a greater risk than most... these are need to know things...  If you're still dire to have a baby go for it but AFTER you research this thing to death.  No sense in putting yourself through another heartbreak yanno?  If for some reason Doctor advises you against getting PG again, I would look into american baby adoption.  Tons of babies need love right here in the good old U.S. of A. If that wasn't what you intended... try a surrogate option.  Just don't give up.  There is always another option!

Fibroids can be removed, look into that as an option. Literally every woman in my family has suffered from uterine fibroids and most have had successful pg's. I am actually scheduled to have a high contrast u/s done soon to rule out fibroids and/or pollyps as the cause of my recent m/c.
Talk to your doctor and see what they want to do...

Good Luck!

With my d&c I don't remember bleeding for more than a week afterwards. My problem is I hemorraged the night before so my perception of heavy bleeding was altered after that : ) Mnetion it to your doctor, maybe he knows what could be causing it.

Good Luck!!

I've never bled for more than a week after a D&C and I've had several.  You should call your doctor as he may want to see you regarding the bleeding.  Good luck!
