Low HCG level in early pregnancy

by hleon488, Jan 06, 2009 09:48AM
Hello,
I am very sad and hope that anyone can enlighten me here. I am 5 weeks pregnant but yesterday 01/05/09 my blood test revealed that my hcg level has dropped from 523 to about 424 I was brown spotting on Friday 01/02/09 but it stopped that same night. my first sono did not show a sac and am I so devastated since no one can give me hope.
Can my pregnancy be saved? I have another scan, blood test tomorrow so I will be hoping for the best.
please help.

sorry but does not sound promising. brown spotting can be ok in pregnancy but you hcg levels not doubling but rather falling....not good.

good luck
