I had a low lying placenta. Then it went to a full placenta previa. And then it finally moved away and cleared up. I went in with the intentions of having a vaginal delivery, and ended up having a C-Section because i wasnt progressing, and i had hBP. The chances that it will move out the way are very good. Good luck!!

as long as the placenta isn't covering the cervix you should be able to deliver vaginally. if the placenta covers the cervix a c-section will be the thing to save your baby. you wouldn't want to deliver the placenta before the baby cuz it will cut the baby off of all oxygen before the baby is delivered. i am sure the doc will keep an eye on you and make sure that if you do end up with the placenta covering the cervix he will have you in for a c-section before you go into labor.

If your Placenta doesn't move and you have to have a c-section, there are way worse things that could happen.  All that really matters is that you and baby have a very safe delivery and that you are both fine.  A planned c-section can be a very realxing delivery actually and there is no labor to go through.  I had a planned c-section due to a breech baby and I had a VERY easy recovery and everything including the grandparents were ready for the grand event!

Best of luck!

you are only 20 weeks right?  You have so much time for it to possibly migrate up into your uterus.  I was in the same situation and it cleared up by 26 weeks.  A lot of people are told that they have possible previa at their 20th week exam.  Good luck!
