Based on the info here, I'd guess that an U/S is useless at this point - I'm told they can't see much before 6 weeks along... especially if the HCG is lower than it should be. But ask them all your questions - if you continue having symptoms and low rising HCG they may just send you for a few U/S in a row. I ended up having 3 within a month...
They did 3 U/S for me, and couldn't see anything for any one of the U/S. Nothing in the uterus, nothing in the tube. But the HCG kept rising. So they thought it could be an ectopicEctopic pregnancy that couldn't be seen yet... but then I got more bleeding a couple of weeks later, and finally the HCG began to decline. As far as they know the HCG never got above 300.
