I am a few days away from being 38 weeks pregnant but the past few days I have been having a lot of pressurePressure ulcer and pain in my lower abdominal area, basically it feels like the c-section scar on the inside giving me problems. If I sit at somewhat of a recline I am okay, but if I get up and stand or use the bathroom that is when it is most pronounced, sort of like the baby is coming out but also then the pain along my scar like that area hasn't been stretched yet. Do you suppose this is a sign of upcoming labor or something to be concerned about?
It could be simplySimply sleep scar tissue stretching. There are several layers of tissue that were disrupted during your C/Section before, and all have some degree of scar tissue.
You could mention it this week to your doctor, certainly. If it suddenly and very sharply becomes unbearable, of course call right away. If you are having lots of contractions, you'd want to also notify your doctor.
