Lower ab discomfort during pregnancy

I am almost 18 weeks pregnant.  I'm not having pain in my lower ab area, but more of a tender feeling. Does anyone else have this same feeling?  One more thing, I'm also not feeling my baby move yet.  Is this normal?

Is this your first pregnancy? If so, it may not me unusual to not feel movement yet, many won't feel it until 20 weeks or so or can mistake it for gas or hunger.

The pain sounds like round ligament stretching. That is about the point I started feeling it with my first. With each subsequent one it has hit at different points. With this one, I have been feeling it since about 13 weeks and it generally strikes upon sudden movement right now. As I progress it will turn into the ache in the pelvic region as it did with my other two.

As always, if you have concerns, mention them to your doctor. They are much more knowledgable about your situation and better equipped to address these concerns : )

It sounds like Round Ligament Pain to me.  And as far as the fetal movement i wondered the same thing.  I didnt feel the baby till 19-20 weeks.  NOW SHE WILL NOT STOP :)

Think positive and if you are concerned let you OBGYN know

i also had pain in my previous pg's.  it was normal stretching.  In my first pg i didn't feel the baby move until 21 wks.

it sounds like the tenderness is noraml. Don't worry about not feeling the baby yet. I'm pregnant with my second set of twins and with my first pregnancy I didn't feel them until about 23 weeks.

I have a really weird question I found out that I am seven weeks pregnant and they have already seen the babys heartbeat on an ultrasound because the hospital thought that it was an tubal pregnancy. But it wasn't. I have endometriosis could that cause ab paing? Also I am very scared of Miscarriages!!
