M/C started

Hi well i was bleeding for about 3 days here and there nothing too heavy then woke up this morning with bad stomach cramps about 2 hours later i passed what looked to be a big clot then bled really heavy with large clots for about an hour then it slowed down a bit,still heavy but not as bad as it had been still passed a few clots then what looked like to be the sac (i think)then few more large clots still bleeding now but not as heavy and not as many clots and this all started about 13 hours ago,is it normal for bleeding to slow down a bit after this time preiod (period) ?
Any advice i would be grateful for.thanks in advance.

sounds a lot like my experience. My dr. said the really really heavy stuff should only last an hour or so. If it continues and continues - definitely call or go to the ER.  But mine died off..but I bled for over 10 days...each day was a little better..but the cramps were worse the two days after the heavy bleeding. Like labor - bad. Then I had to have a follow-up appt. to see if all tissue had passed. It hadn't - now they want me to wait a couple weeks...if it still doesn't then I'll have to have a D&C anyway.  I hope the worst is over for you.

I'm in the same boat...I started bleeding today. It's heavy, I'm crampy and my legs are weak.  This is my 5th miscarriage in 3 yrs, although only my second natural one,had 3 D&C's which I am trying to avoid this time around.  It's tough. I know how you feel.   I just want to get back on track to try again... Hopefully your feeling ok.

Just to be safe I would call your doc. just to make sure you are not bleeding inside and everything came out.

Well im still having bleeding just not as bad im hoping its all passed now,i have an appointment for monday for an ultrasound then they will check if anything is still there and if it is they are taking me to theatre for a d&c,i hope it has passed as i would hate to go for a d&c now after going through all that yesterday.
Anyway thanks for you replys and hope your all feeling ok.

Hi. I am sorry that you are having to go through this. I bled for 10 days before realising i was actually miscarrying.  I thought it was a late period. However after 3 weeks of bleeding, and a HCG that wouldnt go to zero, I landed up having a D&C.

I hope it eases off for you soon and my thoughts are with you

I'm so sorry but at least it's happening naturally and that is what you wanted.

I went through it twice...naturally.  My bleeding was different for each one...although I was exactly 5.5-6 weeks when they both started and stopped.

My first one was heavy heavy bleeding for about 3 hours and then it turned back to a normal period flow but over the next few days I did pass several more clots....the 2nd one wasn't as harsh in bleeding but the pains were worse...
