M/c 4 weeks ago, got blood test HCG level is a '10 could it be that i am preggo again?

okay I had an M/C 4 weeks ago, I was prob. 3 to 5 weeks pregnant, we were never really sure since I tested positive early on with HPT's. So with that said, we have been 'doing the deed' and on Sat, Sunday and today I tested positive... now my bleeding was only 6 or 7 days like a normal period...which that was what the m/c was

well, with that said, I did get a blood test done, and the nurse lady said my HCG level was a '10' and I will prob. have to be retested.

but shouldn't the HCG level be a '0' by now considering I had an M/C four weeks ago?
why would it be a 10 after 4 weeks ?!? could I be preggo again? That is what it was when I found out I was preggo the first time lol.

Like the nurse said, a 10 isn't very definitive either way.  I'm confused, though...did yous say you had a period AFTER your m/c?  I got pregnant immediately after my m/c, but my doctor had tested my levels each week and I knew I was back to 0 before my next pregnancy.

it took about 3-4 weeks for my hcg level to drop to 0 after a m/c last fall.  
I had blood work done 5 or 6 times.  My doc seemed surprised that it took so long, but assured me it was def a m/c.  i did not need a d&c.

I got pregnant about 1 1/2 weeks after my levels reached 0, though. = )

well the m/c was like a period and the doc said when the bleeding stopped my levels should have been at '0' because I was soo early on.

and it was a natural m/c

Hi, I had a scan at which I thought I was 9wks pregnant. My gp did the scan and said there is no fetus in a sack and my womb was full of blood. I have not had any bleeding since feb. I had a scan 3 days later at epu. They said fetus is in a sack. They could not detect a heart beat. I could of got my dates wrong?? Got repeat scan in ten days time. Another hpt came up positive. Still no bleeding am I pregnant ??? Very confused please help
