Miscarriage/ blighted ovum or normal

Hi there, I thought that I was 8 wks today. I went to have and ultrasound done as I had been spotting brown for the last 6 days now. All they told me was that I had to go back in a week or so as they think that I may be not as far along as I thought. They also said that I have a tilted uterus. As they showed me the images of the sac, I noticed that it was just a black circle. I was not shown any of the details. I have another Dr appointment tomorrow to go over my blood tests for the hcg and the ultrasound but I am so scared that it might be a blighted ovum. I have seen that a tilted sac may be the cause of not being able to see anything and I see a lot of good and bad outcomes. Is there anyone else who is experiancing these things. Also I have had dark brown clots which the DR said that I would pass when she did and internal and no cramping or bleeding......Anyone have a response to this I would love to know that I am not alone......

One of my good friends who I was talking to yesterday about her current pregnancy(10 weeks), mentioned to me that she had a blighted ovum before this pregnancy at around 6 weeks. She had only known she was pregnant for a few days and had gotten a pos. pregnancy test, but the line was faint. The day she was going to go in for her first doc. appt, she started to bleed. She went ahead to the doc. office and they took her blood work...her levels of hcg were very low, and that is when they told her that in all probability that is was a blighted ovum and the pregnancy was no longer viable, and it will probably pass naturally. They told her it was very common and many women have had blighted ovums early on and it did not affect there chances of concieving again...well she did just fine (after waiting 2 cycles before trying again, that is what they told her to do) and is now 10 weeks, and has had 2 u/s so far. The first one showed a little sac as well, her next one showed the little arm and leg buds forming. I don't really know what could be the outcome for you, but I certainly wish you the best...Just know if it is a blighted ovum, they are common and have no bearing on your chances of concieving again. It happens to a lot of women, I know that probably doesn't make you feel better about your situation, and I really feel bad for what my friend has gone through as well...but now she is rejoicing over her pregnancy now, and it seems all will be ok w/ this one! I certainly hope the same is for you! Good luck and I wish you the best!!
