I was just wonder if there is anyone out there that has any suggestions or stories about ttc soon after miscarriage. I am now just waiting for AF, but my HCG levels are negative now and I am just waiting so I have a date. I want to know if anyone has concieved very soon after miscarriage and what their out come was? I haven heard any evidence of concieving to soon causes another miscarriage and most dr recommend 1-3 month for emotional reasons. I want to ttc soon , but I just wanted some personal opinions other than the dr.s. Thanx for any feedback at all.
I had a MC in Sept and am 11 weeks pregnant now. I got pregnant again without getting AF. I was scared of another MC, but so far everything is okay. Good luck to you.
i had a m/c 5 wks ago monday and my period just started on sat 6th i am going to ttc as soon as i stop bleeding (sorry)
the doctor said 1 cycle was fine, there was no med reason why not? I think alot say 2-3 cycles for emotional reasons but if you feel upto it, then go for it.

Many people i heared have got pg 2 wks after m/c and had good outcomes.
let us know how you get on.
Im so excited that i'm having my period..lol and that i can ttc again very soon. praying for an october babie?
I had a blighted ovum and had a m/c at 11 weeks, I did m/c naturally, but had to take some pills to help induce it as I was still going strong at 11 weeks and it could have still been awhile till I m/c on my own. I know that Dr.'s will recommend waiting also if you have had a d&c to give your body time to heal from the procedure, plus it can take a few cycles to get your body back in sync, it can be harder to track your cycle the first few after a m/c because they can be a little off. My Dr. told me that if I felt I was ready to ttc again I could start right after I stopped bleeding from the m/c. I waited and had one af and got pregnant right after that. I wasn't really ttc at the time, I thought it was late in my cycle, but again, your body can be off. It was a nice surprise, but a little scary till I made it through the first trimester. Everything was fine, I was just nervous that something would go wrong. Anyway, I got pregnant not even 5 weeks after I started to bleed from my m/c and am at 27 weeks 5 days with a healthy baby boy. Everything has been great so far and my Dr. just had me come in for some early u/s in the beginning to ease my mind, but there has been no problems at all. I would ttc when you are ready, good luck.
I had a miscarriage on 11/16 at 5 wks 2 days. I got pregnant again on 11/28 and am now 8 wks 2 days. We saw strong heartbeat and things are going great so far. It does happen. Good luck and baby dust to you!!
I had a natural miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks in July. I am now 22 weeks pregnant. I never got AF and found out I was pregnant again. I also had an ulrasound at 5 weeks and 7 weeks this time just to make sure everything was OK. I also had an ultrasound at 20 weeks and everything looked good. We are having a baby girl. I think you just worry more after you have had a miscarriage, I know I did. Good luck to you!! :)
I had a chemical pregnancy in November and am now about 5wks...I'm super nervous but working on being stress free since it'll be better for the baby! Good luck to you!
Thank You all for your stories. It really makes me feel better hearing it from people that have actually gone through it again rather than hearing it from the dr. I was also told that alot of the reason they tell you to wait if you have a natural miscarriage is because it is easier to figure out how far along you are. But my hcg levels are neg. now so atleast I know that I can start. I have done ALOT of research and this helps me make my decision. Thanx again
My friend had a mc at 9 wks. The Dr told her to wait 3 cycles. She didn't listen and became pregnant again before he AF. She mc'd again at 7 wks. No one can say for sure that she mc'd because of not waiting and giving her body time to replenish the uterine lining.
Yes, I was told by my doctor that the only reason they like you to wait for at least one AF is so that they can date the pregnancy better. I never had AF but knew I had ovulated 12 days after my miscarriage. I was right on! The U/S showed the baby measured exactly to the day that I said I ovulated, so dating this pregnancy has not been difficult. Just keep track of when you know you ovulate-which may be sooner than you think! If you go out and buy OPK's that can help you be even more accurate. Good luck!!
They are quite accurate. I know some brands are better than others. If you go to peeonastick.com it will tell you the ones they say are best. Mine was accurate I got pregnant the day it had the darkest line! Good luck!
I m/c around 20th nov 06 and am now around 5-6 weeks pregnant.
I m/c naturally at 6 weeks. This baby came by itself, we've been trying for 4 yrs and the only time i ovulated is when i was on fertility drugs, so it was a major shock when i did a preg test and got a big fat +, im still in shock even though i've had a blood test to totally confirm it.
i had a m/c 3 weeks ago and am trying again i was 11weeks and prayed to became pregnant it was very heart breaking but now i want to have a concieve asap doc says to wait the time length you were pregnant , but ya right im 31 and want to have a baby. do u think im crazy?
My OBYGN just said to wait one menstrual cycle. He did say some doctors recommend 3 cycles, but a lot of times it is so that emotional healing is done. He did say that one cycle is good because then you know your body has healed. I have also heard other women say their doctor told them to wait a cycle to help with dates if you get pregnant again. I waited one cycle, which took 8 weeks after the miscarriage. I have had period after that and it was 2 weeks late. I would at least wait on cycle just so you know everything is ok with your body...but I have read about plenty of women on this board that conceived right after miscarraige and had healthy pregnancy/baby. Good Luck.
I RECENTLY HAD A M/C JULY 25, 2009 I WAS 19 WKS. I WENT THROUGH THE WHOLE LABOR. MY WATER BROKE AND I WENT INTO LABOR A FEW HOURS LATER. IS IT SAFE TO GET PREGNANT AFTER THE 3RD WEEK OF M/C? I FEEL LIKE IM READY. IM NOT BLEEDING ANYMORE AFTER THE M/C. BUT IM KIND OF SCARRED OF GETTING PREGNANT AGAIN AND HAVING ANOTHER M/C...
I had a nartural miscarriage at 4 1/2 weeks, so do you think I would still be at a great risk. Thanx
