Missed Miscarriage

Hi there. I'd been having brown spotting for 2 weeks went for an early scan at 9 weeks pregnant on 29 Aug 2008 and was told that the fetus had died at 5-6 weeks and this was what was called a missed miscarriage. I was devastated but had had a feeling something was wrong as hadn't had any pregnany symptoms for a few weeks.  I'm going to have a D&C but am very keen to start trying for another baby as soon as possible and wondered how long this is likely to take as it took us 12 months with first baby and 7 months with this one.  Am desperate to get pregnant again and hope I don't have to wait too long before this happens!  Am so upset and keep crying on and off.  Hope I get over this soon. Anyone out there had a similar experience?

I found out at 9 weeks that I had a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks. Ended up getting a D&C and then got pregnant again 6 weeks later. I know how hard this must be for you and the feeling that something is missing. I hope you get pregnant again soon but unfortunately its just a guessing game as to when you get pregnant again since its all up to your body. Lots of sticky baby dust to you!

Hi i had a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks, i was pregnant with twins. I had a d&c 3 days later. I then had a period 9 weeks after d&c. 2 weeks later i ovulated ( i used digital ovulation kit) and found out 4 days ago that im pregnant. I know how hard it is but you will get there just keep thinking how good the future will be. good luck. x

i was thought to be 11 weeks preggo and the baby stopped developing at 6 weeks. on june 5th 08 i had a D&E. never had a period and i am now almost 13 weeks pregnant, so i got pregoo within 3 weeks of my D&E. so it is possible and  i wish you the best of luck of TTC. and i f you havent had the D&C yet i would tell you that a D&E is better for the body as there wil be no scarring due to scrapping they just suck it all out... i would ask your dr to do a D&E instead of a D&C.... good luck 2 u

I had a missed miscarriage May 2007. I had a D&C and 2 weeks later, I got PG again. Now I  have a beautiful 6 month old son!

It took me 15 months to get pregnant with a baby I miscarried at 16 weeks. I was devastated, and so worried it would take me that long to get pregnant again. But I got pregnant 3 months later! He is now almost 1!
I've heard you can be pretty fertile after a miscarriage, actually.
