Missed Pill!

by Zd311, Sep 05, 2007 07:40PM
Okay, so 4 days ago my girlfriend lost one of her pills and didnt take it (didnt take any of the other ones as well). Well the next day she started bleeding, not alot, just a little. She says it isnt period blood because its not heavy enough, but she says it is brownish sometimes. We havent had unprotected sex since then, actually the last time we did we pulled out (which I know isnt effective) about a month ago and shes had a period since then. Is the bleeding just because she didnt take a pill and didnt take another one for another 24 hours? Shes been bleeding for about 4 days. Do you think she could be pregnant or is this normal? Thank you in advance!

When you miss a birth control pill your body thinks it's time to start a period so normally that's what it does. I wouldn't think shes pregnant, but you can always take a test to be 100% sure.
