Moby Wrap?

Hey All, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but here goes if tgeres a better suited forum to post please let me know.

I have recently discovered the moby wrap and am wanting to purchase one for my son as he prefers to be close to me than set down in his chair or cot all the time and HATES buggy seat, so obviously this leaves little time to get things done. I'm just wondering when you use it to go out being in the uk where it is currently snowing. How do I dress baby? Is the fabric and my own body heat likely to make him overheat if I use a snowsuit? and I'm worried that if I only use a coat that his legs/feet will get cold.

Not familiar with the particular wrap, but when I used to go out with my infant in the cold weather, I would put him on me first in his Baby Bjorn and then put my old maternity coat on, over us both.  It was knee length, so he was snug, and it had a lot of room in the front body.  I kept the neck unzipped so he would be able to breathe well.  If your child is not too old, that might work.  Once I had to go outside for just  a few minutes, so I just put the baby inside the coat and tied a belt tightly around the outside under him (around my waist) and that worked too.  Hands free, he was snug and safe.  It was pretty funny.

Thanks for the help! I don't think he fit I'm by coat he's 9 weeks old and HUGE lol but will try it out when my wrap arrives :)

Well, my maternity coat could have fit a kangaroo.  :)  I hope it helps.  A big shawl type scarf over him might work too if you have to have him out of the coat.
