Just my opinion, but if my child had a fever that high I would head trait to the er, children can go into convultions and have other problems if the fever gets too high, plz if his fever is that high call his pediatrician or go to the er.

Take care and I hope he feels better

Thank you for your concern. his temp is 102.3 I took him to the er and he has strep. They told me that its normal to run high fevers with strep. Last week when he seen his normal dr. they said he had mono, but they did not do a blood work or nothing and the er said that they should have done so. now he is on antibiotics, and should be better in a few days.

                               THANK YOU SO MUCH

Oh you are quite welcome. I hope he now starts to feel better. If it were me I would find a new doctor. I hate when the kids get a cold or don't feel good, it makes you feel so useless sometimes huh. You take care and lots of kisses on his lil forhead go a long way too.

God Bless
Christine
