More m/c questions...

Hello again.  For those of you who read my previous posts I had m/c on 1/17.  My doc told me I wouldn't pass any tissue because he didn't think I was far enough along because of my hcg levels on 1/15 (17) but I infact did.  I think I may have been further than he thought.  The day I went into his office (before passing tissue) I took a urine test and they said it was neg.  My question is should I worry about anything being left?  I am not really sure since he said I wouldn't pass any tissue in the first place.  Any advice would be appreciated!!

I passed tissue as early as 5.5-6 weeks....so I don't know what to say.

I had 3 m/c in 2006 and the first 2 were natural...one at 5.5 weeks and one at 6.3 weeks....

I was fine on both....everything seemed to expel...got AF about 3-4 weeks after each m/c.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I know how you feel.  I wouldn't worry too much unless you have heavy bleeding, severe cramping, fever, etc...I had two natural m/c and everything had passed within a week.  With the last m/c I had a d and c but that was for other reasons.  I just wanted it over with.  It sounds like you should be fine.  IF the doctor's urine test was neg then it's likely your levels have already dropped.

If you go by the first day of my last period, I would have been about five weeks.  But, he said with my levels I could only be a couple days, which I really didn't believe in the first place I think maybe they had already started to drop when he done the blood hcg.  So I am not really sure what is right.  It was the first month I hadn't charted in almost 2 years (it figures) so I don't know when ovulation was.  So I just really didn't know what to expect.  Thanks for answering the post.

Did he say it was a chemical pregnancy or a blight ovuum?  I had mc at 9 weeks but it was a blighted ovuum and I never saw anything that looked like tissue.  I had one at 10 weeks and passed recognizable products.

He didn't say.  He really didn't say much of anything after he got my test results back (hcg 17, progesteron 2.5) just said I might make it or I might m/c.  He wasnt sure.

Just wanted to say how sorry I am....it's so painful no matter how far along you were.

I did pass tissue on my first m/c at 5.5 weeks....greyish matter...it was heartbreaking, I was in the shower and it went down the drain....I couldn't stop crying.

Each m/c was different than the last by they were all horrific in my mind....

I'm praying for you...speedy recovery.  With your numbers as low as they are....My guess is you are perfectly fine.

With my first m/c I was checked at 5.5 weeks...69 hcg and within a day it was down to 21....then 4 weeks later...AF showed.

I passed tissue at 4 weeks 3 days (although I think I was more like 5 weeks too).

I started bleeding on Jan 15th and my doctors were not in due to Martin Luther King's day. Doctor on call told me not to worry. It started getting heavier that night and same doctor again told me not to worry, many women bleed, she's seen everything before and it turned out to be okay. Well the next day Jan 16th I never got to see a doctor, just a nurse. She sent me for a blood test. Before I got the numbers I passed a large clot that felt like tissue. The nurse said my Hcg was 409. I told her about the clot and she said to be optimistic. I had another blood test 2 days later and again before I could get results I passed another large clot of tissue. She called and said the numbers were down to 170. I was miscarrying. I guess my question is has anyone been treated like it didn't matter. I felt like I should have been seen, checked out, I felt like they could of been able to tell if something was happening much sooner than making me wait 3 days. Also, I was 7 weeks along. I guess I'd like some reassurance that it will be okay. I feel broken. We've tried for 1 1/2 years and finally got preganat, now my body threw it away.

I understand how you feel.  I have been trying for 2 years.  When I had my m/c on the 17th my doctor seen me that day but it was after hours of bleeding and calling his office.  I felt like they didn't really care as well.  But the truth is if it is going to happen it is going to happen there really is no stopping it so it really didn't matter if he seen me or not.  I know that it is hard.  I am going through it to.  Just have faith that it will happen again soon that is the only thing keeping my head up.  I am sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers.  GOD bless!!

Hi,everyone this site is very helpful.Last week I saw some blood so i went to the Dr we saw the baby 6 weeks 1 day.Saw the heartbeat and he gave me some pills to help the uterus.After I went home I went to the toilet I had back pain instantly and a little pain like I have normally during my period when i pass some blood cloths.I was shocked i passed 3 blood cloths called my dr and he told me we saw the heartbeat no?we see from there.The day after i wiped some blood and went to hospital.they did like a smear test and said it was brown blood not so worrying but tomorrow you should come and do u/sound.I went but they saw nothing no gestational sac and no baby.I couldn`t say nothing only shocked i passed my baby and didn`t know the first thing that came to my mind!Went with results did smear test again and some blood came out,and dr said i had to stay there to see if needed a d&c.My dr came,but as i only had some bleeding he told me to check for an u/s 10days after to see what`s happenning.I think my baby`s gone and I can`t understand how it could happen seeing the heartbeat and after nearly an hour pass the baby without any pain.Only Emotional Pain.Tnks for let me share with you my experience.
