Sometimes it helps to think of how much worse it could be. My SIL gets morning sickness so bad that she has to go to the hospital for IV's.It lasts her 4 full months, and she loses all this weight, and can't eat or drink hardly anything.
On the bright side, morning sickness usually means that things are great and healthy and normal with the pregnancy. So that can be a reason to be thankful for it.
I miscarried in September, and I would give anything to be experiencing morning sickness right now...
I am almost 14 weeks pregnant and i have been sick almost everyday since i found out i was expecting. it comes and goes during the day and lately it seems like i feel sicker in the evenings. each pregnancy is different and not all women are so lucky as to end their queeziness after the standard 12 months or so. i have read alot that morning sickness is a sign of healthy placenta, so thats a good thing. there are a few drugs out there that are apparently safe to take for morning sickness but usually they only prescribe them for extreme cases like when you are puking and losing alot of weight etc. they are a combination of vitamin b3 and gravol or something like that. good luck i hope you start feeling better soon!
Aw, I feel all your pain! I'm 9w 4d and so sick! I vomit 3-4 times a day and feel totally helpless at home. My husband has had take care of the house and our 2 year old. I had the same kind of sickness with my first pregnancy and it stopped around 12 weeks. I am hoping for the same this time around. But it's so true that to feel this way is a blessing and a miracle. But I know first hand how hard it is. Hang in there girls! We'll make it!
If you archived your subject you'd see so many other women that also experienced morning sickness. I was sick non-stop for the first 13 weeks- through up everything..even water. I'd get so frustrated when NOTHING would work (small meals, crackers, ginger, teas). Only laying still worked for me. After 2 trips to the ER for dehydration, I decided to take Zofran. I savored them b/c they're very $$. But when I was heading out on special occasions where I didn't want to vomit, I'd take one. It worked ok. Some people just get it- God even the thought of the preggo pops make me gag now b/c I projectile vomited them up that first trimester!
I'm sorry you are going through this. I tend to be an evening and middle of the night sickness kind of girl. During my last pregnancy I didn't have this at all and I miscarried, so it is reassuring to me that hopefully this is a sign all is well.

Best of luck to you. I know it can be rough.
