Morning sickness - it will get better, right?

So I am almost 9 weeks along with my second child and I'm having much worse morning sickness than I did with my first. As I read other people's posts regarding morning sickness I keep seeing over and over - "I was sick all throughout my pregnancy... I threw up until I delivered.... I was sick for the first 5 months." Please tell me that this actually will get better and that I don't have another 8 months of grossness to look forward to. For those that were sick through their pregnancies - did it at least lessen? I am having a hard time doing normal activities like going to the grocery store and seeing friends. I have medication that helps but I hate to take it every day. Thanks!

So far I have been sick for the past 6 weeks doesn't look like it's going to give up lol my friend was sick for 5 months straight

My first pregnancy, I was sick the whole 9 months.  It did lessen, but was still throwing up a few times a day up until I delivered.  I remember throwing up even after he was born...This pregnancy has been much the same.  I am 6 months and still dealing with morning sickness.  It has lessened, but still there.  I do take a medication prescribed by my doctor everyday for the nausea.  It has helped a lot.  I hated taking it every day too, but I decided it was worse to be throwing up 6 times a day and it has been proven safe for the baby, so I take it religiously.  Good luck!
