I am starting the 3rd month of pregnancy. But my morning sickness is killing me!! I am having trouble keeping down food at anytime during the day. I usually vomit a meal at least once every 2days or so. It's becoming a really big problem. I've tried the crackers, the prego pops, pretzels, salty foods, and toast with a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys butter.
Any advice from moms who have gone through this would be greatly appreciated!! I don't know what to do! I am afraid I am not going to get the right amount of food in me for my baby if I don't stop this crazyness.
M/S Sucks big time. My doctors also gave me a medicine called phenerganPhenergan Phenergan vc Phenergan vc with codeine Phenergan with codeine. It's for nausea and usually works wonders. Also higher doses of vitamin B6 can help, but it usually takes about a wk for that to kick in. Either way the doctor can get you prescription that will help you.
I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and am still experiencing the nausea, though I have the vomiting down to about once a week, which is SO much better. I got a script for anti-nausea meds which I immediately vomited up, so then I went to 50mg of vitamin B6 with a 1/2 tablet of UnisomUnisom Unisom sleepgels maximum strength Unisom sleepmelts Unisom with pain relief each eveningEvening primrose Evening primrose oil. My doctor also took me off prenatal vitamins and told me to take 2 Flintstones vitamins a day instead, as it has the same amount of folic acid, but not as much iron (which causes nausea and vomiting in some women). It's not a perfect solution, but it's definitely much more tolearble.
