Mucous plug???

Yesterday morning when I went to the bathroom I noticed some yellowish stuff that looked like snot on the toilet paper when I wiped (sorry, tmi!) I thought maybe it was the start of my mucous plug but it only happened twice and it didn't seem like there was very much. Any Thoughts??

I had something similar yesterday as well, and mine was streaked with brown blood. I called my doctor's office, and she asked if I was having any other symptoms-contractions, etc. which I was not. She also said it looks like a big ball of snot (sorry!  her words!).  She offered to do an ultrasound on me to measure my cervix to make sure nothing was happening.  I think if you're unsure you should give your doctor a call, it wouldn't hurt.
Also, if you feel so inclined, you can do a Google images search on "mucus plug" to see what it looks like. Be prepared, it ain't pretty!

That definitely sounds like what happened with me. I slowly lost mine for 2 weeks and then one day the remainder (a yellow/brown blood streaked glob) came out. I went into labor about a week later. Ahhh the joys of pregnancy :)
