My Irregular Periods Get Me Confused

March 7th I got my period. Two Weeks later I spotted for one day, the next day it was gone. When that happened I thought HURRAY I might be pregnant... But on April 4th I got my period or so i think it is. It's just brown and usually its heavy with cramping but i didn't cramp and its not heavy, its light. All i use are pantyliners but im still bleeding everyday so far... im confused. Im trying to get pregnant but im not sure if i am or if this is just my period and i need to try again. Both me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant. I have irregular periods and i will only get my periods about 2-4 times a year, and when i do get my period its with heavy bleeding and red and lots of cramping... so please, im really confused and just want to know what could be going on with me.

Have you taken a test to be sure that this is a period?

Yes. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative! So i have my answer but my irregular periods get me confused and not pregnant! i have an appt to see my doctor.

With such irregular cycles, you should see a doctor to find out if you are even ovulating at all.  Its possible that you are not.
