My right foot

My right foot and ankle has been swollen for over two months. I have been to two different hospitals and no one knows what is wrong. I am not a diabetic, pregnant or have any major health issues. Any idea wat is wrong?

it's my understanding that whenever one side of the body is affected solely, it either has something to do w/ the brain or the heart.  for instance, blood circulation problems.  get it checked out by a doc.  2 mths is a while.

Ive had my foot checked out and no doctor know whats wrong with me.. They say it cant be serious because Im not a diabetic nor have I had any real problems. I did have a kidney infection last year but they dont think that my foot has n e thing to do with it :( I did however have a sonogram done 2 c if I have fibord tumors or an etopic pregnancy and everything was fine

I had  my right foot swollen with ankle and that was when I was 5 months along. My doc said it was way too ealy for me to have swollen feet especially when it was just one.  He told me to elevate my foot and put a cold pak on it and  it worked.  Never knew why it was like that.  Now that I am 8 months along .....both feet are like elephant feet and that is because of pregnancy now.  Ice pak and elevation do not work anymore.  I know its only temporarily.  Can't wait for these feet to deflate soon...ahahaha!!

Let me repeat...what TESTS have been done?  Doppler studies on the veins in your leg?

when they did the doppler studies they didnt find n e thing wrong.... i think umma try tha ice pack. they told me to jus elevate it n that the ice pack may cause frostbite so not to put it on there but then again they dont even know wat the hell is wrong wit me lol so I'll try it... thanx 4 tha suggestion valley babes
